YOUR MISSION
To support our engineering team in the successful execution of our ISS and other space missions. This includes designing and developing the latest space hardware and supporting the mission preparation including the assembly, integration and test of real space hardware.
YOUR TASKS
  • Designing life science experiments for space especially the fluidic systems and experiment enclosures (3-D experience or catia V5 preferred)
  • Define/perform analyses for thermal and structural loads of the spaceflight experiments through all mission phases (transport, launch, on orbit, return)
  • Support on the assembly, integration and testing of the designed systems especially in the scope of flight mission preparations
  • Work closely together with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best performance for the overall system
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • have experiences in similar areas over more than 2 years
  • are experienced with CAD ideally 3DExperience of CatiaV5
  • are experienced with MS Office
  • are a team player with communication skills, supportive, well organized and have an independent way of working
  • fluently speak and write in English and ideally good in German
  • ideally have experience with AIT of spaceflight systems
  • ideally experience with ANSYS especially for thermal analyses

YOUR MISSION
Wir suchen Unterstützung unseres Ingenieurteams bei der erfolgreichen Durchführung unserer ISS- und anderer Weltraummissionen. Dazu gehören der Entwurf und die Entwicklung der neuesten Space-Hardware und die Unterstützung bei der Vorbereitung von Missionen, einschließlich der Montage, Integration und Prüfung von echter Space-Hardware.
YOUR TASKS
  • Entwurf von biowissenschaftlichen Experimenten für den Weltraum, insbesondere von Fluidiksystemen und Experimentgehäusen (3-D-Erfahrung oder Catia V5 bevorzugt)
  • Definition/Durchführung von Analysen für thermische und strukturelle Belastungen der Weltraumexperimente in allen Missionsphasen (Transport, Start, auf der Umlaufbahn, Rückkehr)
  • Unterstützung bei der Montage, Integration und Erprobung der entworfenen Systeme, insbesondere im Rahmen der Vorbereitung von Flugmissionen
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit einem multidisziplinären Team, um die beste Leistung für das Gesamtsystem zu erzielen
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Erfahrungen in ähnlichen Bereichen für über mehr als 2 Jahre
  • Erfahrung mit CAD idealerweise 3DExperience von CatiaV5
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit MS Office
  • Teamfähigkeit, Kommunikationsstärke, Hilfsbereitschaft, eine gute Organisation und selbständige Arbeisweise
  • fließend in Wort und Schrift in Englisch und idealerweise gut in Deutsch
  • Idealerweise Erfahrung mit AIT von Raumfahrtsystemen
  • Idealerweise Erfahrung mit ANSYS insbesondere für thermische Analysen
