YOUR MISSION:

Yuri Lux GmbH is looking to add an Electrical Engineering Intern (all genders) to its ScienceTaxi BioForge Team. This position will be focused on helping the team with the product manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing the electrical system under the guidance of more senior engineers. As a team member, you will work cross-functionally with members of other discipline to ensure the completion of visions and timelines set by the project. During your internship, you will gain experience in working with a professional team, working in an agile development environment.

Ideal starting date: January 2026

YOUR TASKS:

The following tasks and responsibilities will be part of your role:

Support the assembly, integration and tests of electromechanical hardware used for microgravity experiments.
Help with the manufacturing of harness.
Support writing and execution of test procedures and reports.
Partially responsible for organizing laboratory tools, parts, and components.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best performance for the overall system.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experience in related fields.
Experience with electrical systems.
Experience with integration and testing of electrical systems.
Degree in engineering or related.
Willingness to learn and be part of a development team.
Not afraid of using tools (hammer, drill, file, milling machine…) for small adjustments.
Get things done personality.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Adaptable to high levels of uncertainty.
Practical mindset with a focus on execution.
Low ego and empathetic toward colleagues.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Familiarity with space standards is a plus, especially ECSS and SSP.
Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar is a plus.
Proficiency in German is a plus.

DEINE MISSION:

Yuri Lux GmbH sucht dich als Electrical Engineering Intern für unser ScienceTaxi BioForge Team.

In diesem Praktikum unterstützt du uns bei der Herstellung, Montage, Integration und beim Testen unseres elektrischen Systems – natürlich unter der Anleitung erfahrener Ingenieur:innen. Als Teil des Teams arbeitest du eng mit Kolleg:innen aus verschiedenen Disziplinen zusammen und hilfst mit, unsere Projektziele und Meilensteine zu erreichen.

Während deines Praktikums sammelst du wertvolle Erfahrungen in einem professionellen Umfeld und lernst, wie es ist, in einem agilen Entwicklungsteam zu arbeiten.

Geplanter Start: Januar 2026

DEINE AUFGAEN:

Deine Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten umfassen:

Unterstützung bei der Montage, Integration und dem Test von elektromechanischer Hardware für Schwerelosigkeitsexperimente
Mithilfe bei der Herstellung von Kabelbäumen
Unterstützung bei der Erstellung und Durchführung von Testprozeduren sowie bei der Dokumentation von Testergebnissen
Teilweise Verantwortung für die Organisation von Laborwerkzeugen, Bauteilen und Komponenten
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit einem interdisziplinären Team, um die bestmögliche Gesamtleistung des Systems zu erreichen

DAS BRINGST DU MIT:

Erfahrung in verwandten Fachgebieten
Erfahrung mit elektrischen Systemen
Erfahrung in der Integration und im Testen von elektrischen Systemen
Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Ingenieurwesen oder vergleichbar
Bereitschaft zu lernen und Teil eines Entwicklungsteams zu sein
Keine Scheu im Umgang mit Werkzeugen (Hammer, Bohrmaschine, Feile, Fräsmaschine …) für kleinere Anpassungen
Ausgeprägte Hands-on-Mentalität, „Getting-things-done“-Persönlichkeit
Selbstmotiviert und proaktiv
Anpassungsfähig an hohe Unsicherheiten
Praktische Denkweise mit Fokus auf Umsetzung
Teamorientiert, empathisch und mit wenig Ego
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Kenntnisse von Raumfahrtstandards sind von Vorteil, insbesondere ECSS und SSP
Kenntnisse in SolidWorks oder vergleichbarer Software sind von Vorteil
Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
