WORKING AT YURI IS LIKE:  
YOUR MISSION
Software Engineer to support the design and development of experimental payload hardware and innovative technology to be flown in space to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard a number of orbital launchers. In our presently small engineering team in Luxemburg versatility is needed in this challenging engineering environment.
YOUR TASKS
  • Developing / producing the flight operational software for Experimental Containers (ScienceShells) to be flown in the ScienceTaxi to the ISS and Orbital Launchers.
  • Developing Test Software for the Experimental Containers.
  • Preforming Software Testing / Verification of the functionality of the Experimental Containers at system level.
  • Developing the embedded software for a number of other experimental payloads.
  • Support the Management and Engineering Team on future proposals
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • You have a degree or an equivalent degree in the one of the following: Software Engineering, Computer and Electronic Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering.  
  • You have at least 3+ years of industry or postdoc experience  
  • You convince with your extraordinarily strong C++ and your solid Python programming skills.  
  • You are skilled in testing and validating complex software systems.  
  • Your experience in designing software architecture stands out.  
  • You have basic Electronics knowledge.  
  • You have knowledge about communication protocols.  
  • You have experience in programming microcontrollers.
Nice to have:   
  • Experience with CAN and CANopen.  
  • Experience with ROS1/2.  
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing.  
  • Knowledge about control loops and kinematics.  
  • Experience developing Raspberry Pi applications.
