YOUR MISSION
As a project manager with a technical background, you take on responsibility for space agency contracted development projects for microgravity research facilities with the main focus on life science applications.
YOUR TASKS
  • Accountable project lead for all development Phases OTOCOQ (Phase A/B, Phase C/D)  
  • Contribution and support of system engineering aspects during all development phases  
  • Representation of projects in front of customers and customer reviews as PDR, CDR, FAR etc. (above all agencies like LSA, ESA, NASA etc.)  
  • Accountable for internal and external project reporting and reviews
  • Guiding and educating an engineering team
  • Implement state-of-the-art technologies and continuously search for new innovative solutions
support in System Engineering: 
  • Specification, design and analysis of mechanic, electrical/electronics & software systems including system architecture and interfaces for manned and unmanned spaceflight (above all, development Phase A/B, Phase C/D)
  • Requirements verification including support specification of test GSEs 
  • Set up of the technical framework (documentation, processes, etc.) related to the commercial exploitation of ScienceTaxi program and services
  • Knowledge of  Software and its implementation 
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Dipl.-Ing., Master or similar in a technical discipline
  • Strong technical knowledge with expertise in corporate management, procurement & logistics, and skills management
  • Strong thermal background of advantage
  • Ability to identify synergies and potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Affinity for statistics and data analysis is advantageous
  • Solid professional experience in successfully executing projects valued at over €1 million with project durations exceeding 2 years
  • Previous experience in executing projects contracted by space agencies, particularly LSA, ESA, and NASA (including Fixed-Firm Price and cost reimbursement contracts), is advantageous
  • Familiarity with qualification/verification, as well as PA & Safety of human space flight, based on relevant ECSS, SSP, and INCOSE standards, is beneficial
  • Knowledge or experience in projects related to life science systems is beneficial, above all bioprinting
  • Experienced with MS Office - CAE / CAD / FEM and software tools (ANYSY, Catia, SolidWorks, MATLAB, Python) is advantageous
  • Fluent proficiency in both English and German languages

YOUR MISSION

Als Projektleiter übernimmst du die Verantwortung für von Raumfahrtagenturen beauftragte Entwicklungsprojekte für Forschungseinrichtungen in Schwerelosigkeit mit Schwerpunkt auf Anwendungen in den Lebenswissenschaften.
YOUR TASKS
  • Verantwortlicher Projektleiter für alle Entwicklungsphasen von OTOCOQ (Phase A/B, Phase C/D)
  • Beitrag und Unterstützung bei systemtechnischen Aspekten während aller Entwicklungsphasen
  • Vertretung von Projekten vor Kunden und Kundenbewertungen wie PDR, CDR, FAR usw. (vor allem bei Agenturen wie LSA, ESA, NASA usw.) 
  • Verantwortlich für die interne und externe Projektdokumentation und -bewertungen
  • Führung und Schulung eines Ingenieurteams Implementierung modernster Technologien und kontinuierliche Suche nach innovativen Lösungen Unterstützung im System Engineering: Spezifikation, Design und Analyse von mechanischen, elektrischen/elektronischen & Software-Systemen einschließlich Systemarchitektur und Schnittstellen für bemannte und unbemannte Raumfahrt (vor allem in den Entwicklungsphasen A/B, C/D) 
  • Anforderungsprüfung inklusive Unterstützung bei der Spezifikation von Test-GSEs Aufbau des technischen Rahmens (Dokumentation, Prozesse usw.) im Zusammenhang mit der kommerziellen Nutzung des ScienceTaxi-Programms und der damit verbundenen Dienstleistungen Kenntnisse in Software und deren Implementierung

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Abgeschlossenes Studium als Dipl.-Ing., Master oder ähnliches in einer technischen Disziplin 
  • Umfassendes technisches Wissen mit Expertise in Unternehmensführung, Beschaffung & Logistik sowie Kompetenzmanagement 
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im thermischen Bereich von Vorteil Fähigkeit, Synergien zu identifizieren und potenzielle Kosteneinsparungsmöglichkeiten zu erkennen Affinität für Statistik und Datenanalyse von Vorteil 
  • Solide Berufserfahrung in der erfolgreichen Durchführung von Projekten im Wert von über 1 Million Euro mit Projektlaufzeiten von mehr als 2 Jahren 
  • Frühere Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Projekten im Auftrag von Raumfahrtagenturen, insbesondere LSA, ESA und NASA (einschließlich Festpreis- und Kostenerstattungsverträgen), ist von Vorteil 
  • Vertrautheit mit Qualifikation/Verifikation sowie PA & Sicherheit von bemannten Raumflügen auf der Grundlage relevanter ECSS, SSP und INCOSE-Standards ist von Vorteil 
  • Kenntnisse oder Erfahrung in Projekten im Zusammenhang mit Life-Science-Systemen sind vorteilhaft, insbesondere im Bereich Bioprinting Erfahrung mit MS Office - CAE / CAD / FEM und Software-Tools (ANYSY, Catia, SolidWorks, MATLAB, Python) ist von Vorteil 
  • Fließende Kenntnisse in Englisch und Deutsch
